SOUTH BERWICK, Maine – Keith "Bumpa" Knight, 96, of Knights Pond Road died Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at York Hospital after a brief illness. He was born September 2, 1919, in South Berwick the son of Charles and Lottie (Nowell) Knight. He was very active in the fields and in his community. As a young man, Keith often used his own team of horses to help neighbors and fellow loggers. Keith worked for many years as a logger and later for the State of Maine Highway Department. His family was very important to him, and enjoyed visits and get togethers with them and his friends. He was predeceased by his parents, first wife Arline (Carter) Knight, second wife Dorothy May (Lassor) Knight, and three siblings Burton Knight, Francis Knight, and Elizabeth Stover.
