Early Life: Bob was born in Woodruff, Utah, on December 2, 1930, to Rene Dillon and Annie LaVelle Foote Frazier. He attended Woodruff and Springville schools. He graduated from Springville High School and LDS Seminary in 1949.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: Later that same year, he enrolled at Brigham Young University where he was a member of the Blue Key National Honor Fraternity. In 1956, he graduated from BYU with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Landscape Architecture and Ornamental Horticulture. Bob was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He fulfilled an LDS mission to the North Central States from 1953 to 1955. He held many positions of responsibility in both ward and stake callings, but believed that his family was his most important calling. He was a man of faith, integrity and principle. Bob taught by example, was always willing to serve, and he truly endured to the end. On September 5, 1957, Bob married his eternal companion and greatest treasure, Lucile Bryan, in the Manti Utah LDS Temple. Lucile is the daughter of the late Lauren and Una Bertelsen Bryan. During his career, Bob worked hard to establish himself as a professional architect. He was a member of the American Institute of Architects and American Society of Landscape Architects. In his career, he designed many professional office buildings and LDS Stake and Ward buildings. He was honored twice for his landscape work as "Utah's Best Professionally Designed Gardens" recipient. He took pride in his work and believed that a job should be done right the first time. Bob was well known for his ability to craft beautiful landscapes and designs. When he retired at age 80, he was the co-owner of Architects II Inc. Bob was very involved in community service. He served on several boards and committees including: Chairman of the Springville City Beautification Committee, Springville City Planning Commission, Springville City Shade Tree Commission and the Springville Parks Board. In 2012, Bob and Lucile were honored for their lifetime of community service being named as Grand Marshalls of the Springville Art City Days Parade. He was an active member in the Boy Scouts of America, serving in local, regional and national capacities, including Wood Badge and eight National Jamborees. Bob was awarded the Silver Beaver, BSA's highest award, for his distinguished service. In 2013, Bob was honored as a 70-year veteran of the Boy Scouts of America. He was an ardent outdoorsman.
