BRIMFIELD, IL - Paula E. Porter, 77, of Brimfield died at 12:36 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, at the Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born on Oct. 13, 1934, in Peoria to Frank and Eva Singley Golden. They preceded her death. Paula married Robert D. Porter on Oct. 19, 1952, in Brimfield. He preceded her in death on Dec. 30, 1984.

Surviving are one son, Gerald "Jerry" (Tammy) Porter of Eagar, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Jeremy (Holly) Porter of Eagar, Ariz., Niki (Vince) Morgan of Maricopa, Ariz., and Eric Porter of Eagar, Ariz.; two great-grandchildren, Rory Porter and Archer Morgan; her twin sister, Pauline (Kenny) Warner of Brimfield; twin sisters, Betty Dalton of Abingdon and Jane (Sherman) Shay of Avon; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were two sisters, Dode Pack and Dede Booth.

Together with her husband, she tended the family farm in Brimfield, was a member of the Union Church of Brimfield, attended the Elmwood Senior dinners and spent many happy hours playing cards with her lady friends.

Burial will be in Brimfield Township Cemetery.
