"PRIZE WINNERS IN THE BABY CONTEST
The baby show was the most Interesting and entertaining feature of the fair today. At 11 o'clock this morning the little ones, accompanied by their mothers or nurses, filed into Music hall to be inspected and receive prizes. It was quite amusing to watch the anxious expressions on he faces of the mothers as they exhibited their various charges. ...

First among the babies exhibited were those ranging from l to 6 months of age. They were boys. The winner of this contest was Ernest Altgelt, aged 2 months. Ernest J. Altgelt is the father of the little fellow. The prize
consisted of a knife, fork and spoon."
