Lena Mae Price Thomas, 86, of 3678 Bridle Path Drive in Vale, passed away Saturday January 30, 2016 at home.
Born on June 15, 1929 in Washington County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Avery Lee and Ida Mae Callahan Price.
Mrs. Thomas was a homemaker and loved playing bingo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Arthur Thomas; three brothers and four sisters.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by five sons and daughters-in-law, Rob and Delores Thomas of Vale, Jerry and Maria Thomas of Vale, Sam Thomas and friend, Annette Lail of Vale, Rick and Bobbie Thomas of Crouse and Gary and Teresa Thomas of Vale; four daughters, Shirley Revels of Vale, Barbara Barnes of Lawndale, Lynn Thomas of Vale and Lisa and Chris Buff of Vale; brother, Clarence Price of Newton; twenty-six grandchildren; forty-six great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and a loyal companion, Peanut.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 on Tuesday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home in Fallston.
The funeral will be at 2:30 pm Tuesday in the chapel at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home with Rev. Stanley Roark officiating.
Burial will follow at Hoyle Memorial Christian Fellowship Church in Lawndale.
