Graveside services for Mrs. Geneva (Jan) Anderson, age 81, of Lakeville, MN, will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2006, in the LaBolt Cemetery at LaBolt, SD. Pastor Vern Anderson of the Berean Baptist Church in Burnsville, MN, will officiate. The Emanuel-Patterson Funeral Home of Milbank is in charge of the local arrangements.
Geneva died on Monday, August 21, 2006, at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2006, at the Berean Baptist Church in Burnsville with Pastor Vern Anderson officiating. White's Burnsville Funeral Home is in charge.
Geneva was born on September 10, 1924, at Strandburg, SD, the daughter of Frederick and Amanda (Korsberg) Berglund.
She was united in marriage to Kenneth H. Anderson on November 3, 1943, in Minneapolis, MN. They moved to Minnesota in 1971. Geneva was a homemaker. Her husband died on July 22, 1996. She was a member of the Berean Baptist Church in Burnsville.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Linda, New York, New York; Steven and Carla, Minneapolis, MN; and Mark and Lorie and Richard and Brenda, all of Lakeville, MN; one daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Jeff Kendall, Minneapolis, MN; twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, John and Joanne Berglund, South Shore, SD; and one sister, Carol Hanna, Strandburg, SD.
