Death of J. De Bond.
J. de Bond died at his home in this city on last Friday afternoon at the age of 86 years and 6 months. The deceased was one of our oldest and most highly respected citizens and leaves a family of children with a large number of friends to mourn his taking away. The funeral services were conducted from the First Christian Reformed church, last Monday morning morning at 10:30 o'clock, Rev. van der Keift officiating. Thus the reaper of death gathers his grain as it ripens. The family have the heartfelt sympathy of the community.
