He was born March 14, 1944 in Ottumwa to Orval L. and Elvina G. Brown Ault. A 1963 graduate of Ottumwa High School, he retired in 1999 from Ottumwa Regional Health Center after 33 1/2 years. He attended Calvary Open Bible Church.
Survivors include sister, Judith M. Sales of Ottumwa; two nephews, Albert Sales Jr. of Ottumwa and Anthony "Tony" Sales of Ottumwa; one niece, Julie Liebig of Newport News, VA.; two great-nieces, Veronica and Christinia Liebig; and special friend, Cindy.
He was preceded by parents and brother-in-law, Albert Sales Sr.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Shaul Cemetery with the Rev. Charles King officiating. Burial Shaul Cemetery. His body has been cremated. Open visitation will begin 9 a.m. today (Tuesday) at Robertson-Jay Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Heartland Animal Shelter.
