Dorothy DeGuelle, 92, Casco, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 peacefully at home.
She was born October 19, 1920 in the Town of Lincoln to the late Alphonse and Rose (DeVillers) LaCrosse. She married Harvey DeGuelle in November, 1937 at St. Hubert Catholic Church, Rosiere. He preceded her in death September 12, 1976.
Dorothy enjoyed playing cards, making candy, cooking and listening to polka music.
She is survived by 4 daughters, Judy (Larry) LeRoy, Diane Henry, Terri (Lee) Veeser, Debbie (Jim) Mastalir, all of Casco; 8 grandchildren, Lonnie LeRoy, LaRissa (Chuck) Steinke, Lisa (Rock) LeFevre, Brian (Mindy) Everard, Greg (Jody) Veeser, Stefanie (Matt) Dorner, Tina (Scott) Srnka, Tracy Romdenne; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; a brother, Norbert LaCrosse (special friend Shirley). She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Mastalir; a brother, Joe (Julia) LaCrosse; a sister, Rosabelle (Gilbert) Borley; 2 sons-in-law, Myron Everard and Jack Henry; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Marie LaCrosse, Muriel (Jule) Tassoul and Harold (Lorraine) DeGuelle; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Henry and Laura DeGuelle.
Friends called at Wiesner-Massart, Casco from 4 to 8pm Sunday April 7th and again on Monday April 8th at the funeral home until 10am. Wake Service was Sunday at 6pm. Funeral was Monday, 10:30am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Casco with Fr. Dennis Drury officiating. Burial in St. Hubert Cemetery, Rosiere.
