GROW WALKER

LYMAN—Services for Grow John Walker, 70, of Lyman were conducted Saturday, July 14 in the Lyman Stake Center in Urie.

Burial was in the Lyman Cemetery.

Walker died Thursday, July 12 in Lyman.

He was born Jan. 20, 1914 in Lyman to Levi Orsen and Amelia Jane Grow Walker.

He married Nedra Louise Blackner on Jun 21, 1934, in the Salt Lake City L.D.S. Temple and they were later divorced.

He worked in law enforcement for many years and later as a carpenter. He was a member of the L.D.S. Church.

He is survived by two sons, Clark Walker of Reno, Nev., and Quinn walker of Simi, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Louise) Rees, Simi, Calif., Mrs. Galen (Wyoma) Christian, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Terry (Marcia) Shelton, Lyman; and Mrs. Mark (Mayla) Marsing, Cheyenne; 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a stepmother, Mrs. Katie Walker of Lyman; seven brothers, Sylvan Walker of Granger, Claude Walker of Robertson, Clem walker of Soda Springs, Grant Walker of Lyman, Dwight Walker of Lyman, Clinton Walker of Lyman, and Darrell Walker of Evanston; five sisters, Mrs. Myron (Joan) Stringer of Mountain View, Mrs. Myrle Reese of Mountain View, Mrs. Jay (Theo) Larson of Magna, Utah, Mrs. Louis (Ariel) Podbevsek of Glenwood Springs, Colo., and Mrs. La Ray (Mathel) Anderson of Walkes, Utah; one half-brother, Guild Walker of Burbank, Calif. and one half-sister, Mrs. Bill (Lorna) Maxwell of Salt Lake City.
