Bertha W. Eriks "Bertie" "Bert", age 81, of Griffith, IN passed away on January 25, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth; survived by her three children: Garry (Cathy) Eriks, Karen (Mike) Griffin, and Timothy (Loretta) Eriks; three grandchildren: Danielle (Eric) Shea, Ashley Eriks, Cadee Eriks, also preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters. John Hoffmaster, Minister officiating. Burial Hope Cemetery. Bertha was a member of Beacon Light Christian Reformed Church. She worked at Emsings Supermarket as a produce manager, also worked at Chase Street Produce for many years, she loved to help out at Scheeringa's Farms, she was a member of the UFCW Union, enjoyed going on gambling trips with her sister-in-law Sara, her niece Mary, and her good friend Charlotte. Bertie was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
