CROWN POINT, N.Y. - Leona (Pepper) Skiff, age 94, of Crown Point, passed away on January 24th 2016 at the Heritage Commons Nursing Home in Ticonderoga, N.Y.
She was born on May 2nd 1921 in Moriah, N.Y., to Lee and Delia (Huestis) Pepper.
For many years, Leona and her husband Vernon grew and sold strawberries at their home.
Leona is predeceased by her parents, her husband of 52 years, Vernon E. Skiff, her brothers, Will and Elmer Pepper, her sisters, Elizabeth, Virginia and Florence.
