Mrs. Frances Maybelle York Watts was born on October 10, 1920,
to the late Mr. John York and the late Mrs. Frances Revere York
in Barnesville,(Lamar County) Georgia. She was the youngest
of their sixteen children.
Frances spent her early life in Barnesville, Georgia where she married
Mr. Charlie J. Watts in 1936. This union was blessed by God
with seven beautiful children: four girls and three boys.
In addition to her fifteen brothers and sisters, she was preceded in death by her three sons: Mr. Charles Watts, Mr. Johnny Watts, Sr., and Mr. Richard Watts, Sr. She departed this life and entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 12, 2015.
Those left to mourn and cherish her memory are her four loving daughters; one daughter-in-law; 21 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 43 great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family, and friends.
