Early Life: Rachel was born on March 8, 1991, in Ontario, Oregon, to Mary and Fred Roberts, the seventh of nine children. During her younger years, Rachel learned the value of hard work while working alongside her brothers and sisters on the family farm. At age 14, she moved with her family to Spanish Fork, Utah. Two years later, she and her family moved to Orem, Utah, where her parents still reside. Moving throughout the teenage years may be rough on a teenager but Rachel continued with her positive attitude, glowing smile and making friends everywhere possible. During high school, she enjoyed playing the alto saxophone, drawing and taking photography classes. She also began work at Papa Murphy`s where she met and fell in love with Paul Scott.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: They were married on April 18, 2009, in St. George, Utah. Shortly after, their daughter Oriana was born. Rachel loved being a mother and adored her daughter. They loved going on outings and having snuggle time which has continued through her life. In the summer of 2013, Paul and Rachel moved to Salt Lake City for her great desire to be closer to family. She thrived at a couple of different jobs in Salt Lake which included working at a day care and at the Grifols plasma center. She made many close friends during the short years in Salt Lake and was adored by many. Over the last six months, she was able to live in Orem, Utah, striving hard to find answers in her health life and also for a career path. She started taking college classes and looked forward to her classes and being close to friends. She truly loved her family and loved helping and being around all of her nieces and nephews. Dear, sweet Rachel Roberts Scott returned to her Heavenly Father on January 22, 2016.
