The funeral of Miss Lissa Badgley, formerly of Belleville, was held from St. Louis to the Badgley Cemetery on Caseyville avenue here yesterday afternoon. Miss Badgley died in St. Louis Wednesday.

Surviving are two brothers:
A. Badgley, Missoula, Mont.
Ed Badgley, Kansas City, Mo.

~ Age on MO death rec. states born in 1855 but her age shows to be born in 1856.
~ Name variations: Lissa, Lizzie, Malissa, Melissie ...
~ Badgley Cemetery records show "Lissa" as the name she is buried under.
~ Newspapers state she was "Mrs. Badgley" and also "Miss Badgley".
~ Missouri Death records state that she never married.
~ She was the daughter of Anthony S. Badgley and Pricilla Tate.
