Morris Daniel "Boone" Plantz, 85, of Enola passed away peacefully on January 23, 2016 at Brookdale Grandon Farms.

Born in Enola, he was the son to the late Morris Edgar and Viola (Strasbaugh) Plantz.

He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, and was a retired model maker for AMP.

Morris was a member of Enola Emmanuel United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the American Legion. He was a member of the East Pennsboro Alumni, Enola Sportsman's Club and formed the first girl's softball for EPYAL. He also served the township by playing Santa Claus for many years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan E. (Welsh) Plantz.

Surviving are his children, Kevin Plantz and Melissa Plantz, two step-children, Russell Bennett and Bret Bennett, 3 brothers, Gale Plantz, George Plantz, and Donald Plantz, and 4 grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the American Heart Assn. https://donatenow.heart.org
