A funeral service for Delores Irvine, 81, of Rapid City, SD, formerly of Baker, MT, will be at 11a.m., Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at American Lutheran Church in Baker with Pastors Bruce & Reba Kolasch officiating. Burial will take place in the Bonnievale Cemetery.

Viewing and Family Receiving Friends will be Monday, Jan 25 from 1p.m. to 4 p.m. at Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker.

A memorial service for Delores Irvine will be held in Rapid City at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, Jan 27 at Victory Chapel of Rapid City, SD with Pastor Brad Abelseth leading the service.

Delores passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Bella Vista Nursing Home in Rapid City, SD.

Delores was born January 27, 1934 in Glasgow, MT, the daughter of Claude and Demetries (Williams) Propper. Growing up, she attended Glasgow Elementary & High Schools, graduated and continued her education at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell SD. Delores met and married Robert Irvine in Circle, Montana in 1957. They were blessed with three children, Cabot, Mark and Kathy. Together, they farmed and ranched on Bob’s family farm from 1960 until retiring in 2008.

Delores was active in Fallon Creek Cowbelles, the Willard Homemakers, the Lutheran Women’s circles as well as assisting dad with day to day ranch activities until they sold the ranch in 2008- After selling the ranch, while they lived in Rapid City, Delores followed her great-granddaughters school & extra-curricular activities, going to concerts, ball games and other events with her family there; Bob & she would join their friends for breakfast or dinners, whether in Rapid City or Arcadia Florida (where they “snowbirded” for their later years).

She is preceded in death by her parents Claude & Demetries; by three sisters, Arlene Propper, Thara Zgoda, & Maza Jones; by one brother, Everette Propper, and her husband, Robert Irvine.
