Nelson Parks is buried in the old Parks home place cemetery.
This came from an Ancestry.com note from Martin Logan – “up Houndshell Campground Rd, then on foot for 1/2 mile - top of mtn facing cell tower in Grayson County, VA”.
We have notes that “a Civil War marker was placed by William R. Tuck (gr-grandson) and John Crabtree of Marion, VA [John's wife, Nina is gr-granddaughter]” at the Parks Cemetery for Nelson."
