She was a graduate of Immanuel Lutheran School and a passionate lifelong member of the congregation. She worked hard in and outside the house her whole life and her endless stories were enjoyed by all because she told them with such truth. She was Feisty by nature but gentle and loving by choice. Her code 'was waste not want not' which she instilled in all her family. We know she's gone home to heaven having a good reunion dance with her love, as she smiles down. Her laughter and fierce spirit will echo in all who had the honor of knowing her.
She will be fondly remembered by her two sons, Norman Jr. and his wife, Peggy of Bethel, and Alan and his wife, Kathy of AZ; her beloved grandchildren Mary, Alan R.Jr. and Gretchen with children Jack and Emerson, Tammy and Brad with children Sara and Sydney, Anna and Will, Jaime and Tim, Courtney and Liz; her brother, Raymond and his wife, Gloria; her two sisters, Alice and her husband, Raymond. She is also survived by many nieces nephews, loved ones and her "birds".
Funeral Services will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Danbury, on Friday, January 22nd at 11:00am.
Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Bethel. There are no calling hours.
