Kay Lynne (Lochary) Lewis was born March 5, 1945 to Jess and Etta (Meek) Lochary in Oilton, Oklahoma. Together they moved to Nowata, Oklahoma and back to Oilton when she was a teenager. She met the love of her life Eldon Lewis at the age of seventeen and was married on June 5, 1962. Eldon was drafted and the couple immediately moved to Mineral Wells Tx.

When Eldon was released from the United States Army in June 1964, together they started traveling with their infant child Piper, as Eldon pipelined across the United States, together they traveled thru 32 states. Kay enjoyed seeing new sights and meeting new people. In 1970 expecting their second child, Stacy, they decided to return to Oilton to raise their family.

Eldon changed occupation to be at home; Kay had their third child, Troy, when all their children began school Kay worked as a cook at Oilton Public School. She eventually moved on to other occupation such as Otasco, Pope's Grocery, Bruce Insurance, City Treasurer for over 20 years, and Spirit Bank just to name a few. Kay was always busy but family was always first.

She always made sure her family and Eldon's family were a united group, having holidays and fish fries together. Soon after retiring from Spirit Bank, Kay found out she had cancer and battled the disease for three years. She was thankful for all the friends and support she received.

She is survived by her husband: Eldon Lewis, daughter: Piper Begley and husband Jerry, son: Troy Lewis and wife Lisa, six grandchildren: Clint and Justin Begley, Cody and Jacob Lewis, Erica Thomason, and Gage Morrow, two great grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Owen Begley, and numerous family members in Oklahoma and Texas.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.

Family will hold private service at a later date.
