HUNT, Vicky Ellen, 64, of Henrico County, died on Friday, January 15, 2016, from colon cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward A. and Elizabeth J. Hunt. She is survived by her "self-chosen nephews," Forrest and David Hodge and their family. Vicky was a 1970 graduate of Henrico High School and graduated Mary Washington College, with highest honors in 1974. She was elected to Phi Beta Kappa in 1973. In 2011, she retired as an Operations Manager for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, after more than 30 years of service. Vicky was a lover of Cairn Terriers, Harry Potter, and the Wizard of Oz. Friends will be received from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2016, at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Ave. A graveside service, officiated by the Rev'd Dr. E. Allen Coffey, will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Pilots Ln. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Richmond SPCA, 2519 Hermitage Rd., Richmond, Va. 23220 or the Lakeside Volunteer Rescue Squad, 2007 Timberlake Ave., Richmond, Va. 23228.
