Born in Roseburg, Oregon on January 26, 1952, she was the daughter of Merlin and Katherine (Dillingham) Elliott. She graduated from Anderson High School in California. Karin had just recently attended her forty-fifth class reunion. She retired in 2013 from the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier in Sunnyside, WA.
Karin enjoyed painting, traveling to beautiful places, and spending time with friends and family. She loved her family so much and wanted to spend as much time as she could with her grandchildren and no one can forget her luck at the casino.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Taylor, daughter and son in law, Lore'K and Chris Garofola, son, Jered Taylor, grandchildren, Annie Taylor, Miles Garofola-Lam and Sophia Garofola. her niece, McKenna Elliott and her father, Merlin Elliott. She was preceded by her brother, Buddy Elliott and her mother, Katherine Elliott.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19th at Bethel Church in Prosser, (270 Gap Road) with graveside services following at the Prosser Cemetery.
