Paul Maeser Cannon, 59, of Pleasant Grove, Utah, passed away January 14, 2016, in Arizona. Paul was born May 20, 1956, in Whittier, California, to John N and Margaret Maeser Cannon. He married Von Newey and together had two daughters, they were later divorced. He married Linda Busenbark Jensen on May 4, 1984.

Paul grew up in Provo and attended schools there, graduating from Provo High School. He received an associate degree from Utah Technical College in auto body repair. Paul worked for many years as a Union Millwright. Paul always had tinkering projects that were not always finished and loved to spend time at the family cabins in Weber and Sundance. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Pleasant Grove for 30 years. He progressed through all the chairs and eventually served as President and was the Founder of the Eagle Riders motorcycle group in Utah and served as State Coordinator for five years. Paul is also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by his wife, Linda, of Pleasant Grove; six children: Myndi (Dwain) Baxter, Melanye Cannon; Shawn Lidtka Cannon, Lin (Milo) White, Dixie D Jensen and Soni (Teresa) Jensen; father, John N Cannon; and four siblings: Elizabeth C. Funk, David M. Cannon, Cathyrn (Scott) Woolley and Christian M. (Corenna) Cannon. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Maeser Cannon; and brother, John M Cannon.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 23, 2016, at 1:00 pm in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove where family and friends may attend a viewing from 11:00 am – 12:45 pm prior to services. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
