Margaret I "Peg" Leidy, died at 3:30 am Saturday (2-24-01) in Orange Village Care Center, Masury. She was 88.
Mrs. Leidy was bon Oct 28, 1912 to Thomas A.. and Edith C. Titus Bailey.
A 1931 graduate of Sharon High School, she retired in 1975 from Sharon Regional Health System, having worked in the central supply office for many years.
Mrs. Leidy was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church, Sharon and was active in the Love Thy Neighbor class and Willing Workers, a quilting group of the church.
Surviving are; her husband Ivan P Leidy, whom she married Sept 7, 1940; three daughters, Mrs. James (Bonnie Jean) Crytzer, Oil City; Mrs. Norman (Carol A) McKnight, Masury; and Mrs. Noreen M Heckathorn, Sharon; a son, Thomas A Leidy, Wilton, ND; a brother, Nelson Bailey, Sharon; nine grandchildren; and 16 great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell and Kenneth Bailey. {herald}
