Deanna lived in many different places throughout her life and made her home in Bangor in 1999, 3 years after the birth of her daughter Jenna. She graduated in 1985 from Bangor High School, where she was a First Chair trumpet player in the band. After returning to Bangor, she attended the University of Maine. She was an elementary teacher at Milo Elementary School, which was her dream job. Deanna enjoyed her students, riding her motorcycle, cardinals and watching the Bald Eagles hatch and grow online. Most importantly she loved her family.
Deanna is survived by her husband, Leamen Allen Sr.; daughter, Jenna Procise; mother, Nancy Hill and spouse, Madeline Gardner; brother, Jason Hill; special friends, Wendy, Val and Denise; and sister-in-law, Karen Ellis. She was predeceased by her father, Doulgas Hill; and stepson, Leamen Allen Jr.
Graveside services will be held at the Riverview Cemetery in Bucksport in the spring of 2016. (Bangor Daily News 1/16/2016)
