Funeral services for Mrs. Ola C. Potter ALLEN (widow of David U. Allen), 64, who died July 3,1950 were held Tuesday (July 4) at 10 a.m., from the Oak Grove church, near Hornbeck, with Rev. Wiley Knapp officiating. Interment was in the Oak Grove cemetery, under the direction of the Hixson Funeral Home.
Surviving are three sons: Eddie H., Arthur and Steve ALLEN, all of Leesville; eight daughters: Mrs. Leo LYLES, Mrs. Eunice STEPHENSON and Mrs. Frances BEESON, all of Leesville, Mrs. Edna SNELL, of Florien, La.; Mrs. Peter DATENHOFF(Lydia), of Westlake, La.; Mrs. Thadie McDANIEL, of Hornbeck, and Mrs. Ethel NOLAN, of Lake Charles; three sisters: Mrs. William Wiley MARTIN(Lula Cordelia 'Cordy' Potter MARTIN) of Boyce, Mrs. William B. WILLIS (Eva L. Potter WILLIS), of Elizabeth; and Mrs. Arthur RICHARDSON (Lucy Goins RICHARDSON), of Leesville; and three brothers: David Dempsey POTTER and Joshua Josiah (Joe) GOINS, both living in California; and George GOINS, of Kansas.
