Services for Ollie Faye Pinkerton, 73, will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006, at Harvey-Douglas Chapel with the Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Interment will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Bissell Chapel Cemetery near New Hope, Ark.
Born on Dec. 12, 1932, in Umpire, Ark., to James Pierce and Mittie Townsend Dalrymple, she died on Sept. 9, 2006, at her Plano, Texas, residence. She married Ford Edison Pinkerton on July 2, 1949, in Athens, Ark. He preceded her in death on Dec. 1, 1991. She was also preceded by her parents; brothers, Lindell and Hollis Dalrymple; and sister, Vaciel Helm.
She and her husband owned and operated Ford Pinkerton Propane Company in Lone Grove, where she lived before moving to Plano 19 months ago. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Jordan, and husband, Russell, Carrollton, Texas; a son, Bobby Pinkerton, and wife, Betty, Lone Grove; grandchildren, David Jordan, Dana McDaniel, Kristi Welch, Jason Pinkerton and Amy Pinkerton; and eight great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Russell Jordan, Steve Liddell, Richard Payne, Jason Pinkerton, Paul Smith and Rodney Welch.
