In 1933 Sister Agnes entered the Contemplative Community of the Sisters of the Good Shepherd in Peekskill, NY and in 1936 she professed her vows. The Sisters of the Good Shepherd take the Vows of Poverty, Celibacy, Obedience and the fourth Vow of Zeal to work and pray for the Salvation of all Persons. Sister Agnes expressed her Vow of Zeal by praying and uniting her sufferings to the suffering of Christ for all of human kind.
Sister Agnes served in many convents. She was gifted by doing creative sewing and by the sewing of Church Vestments, as well as making habits for the sisters. Her presence among the Sisters imparted strength to our community. The sisters and all who knew her will miss Sister Agnes.
