Delores C. Soelter

DOLAN SPRINGS, Ariz. - Delores passed away Sept. 6, 2006. She was born Oct. 9, 1932, in Sidney, Mont., to Herman and Karin Hanson.
In 1949, she married Jack Sticka. They had eight wonderful children. They moved to Billings in 1955. After Jack's death in 1966, Delores devoted herself to her family and a career in nursing. She moved to Arizona in 1978 with her husband, Henry Hilling.
Delores married Jake Soelter in 1984 and they have enjoyed the Dolan Springs weather together for the last 22 years.
Delores leaves behind her loving husband, Jake; eight children, Barb Cellmer of Billings, Mel (Debbie) Sticka of Nampa, Idaho, Rose Neel of Littleton, Colo., Gary (Patt) Sticka of Las Vegas, Sandy Morse of Las Vegas, David Sticka of Herndon, Va., Cathy (Bob) Greenough of Laguna Hills, Calif., Robert (Durrie) Sticka of Elkridge, Md.; 13 grandchildren, Gerri and Stephanie, Michelle and Danny, Angela and Adrian, Janice, Debbie and Lisa, Kristen, Nicole and Melissa, and baby Jack; six great-grandchildren, Kenny and Steven, Nathan and Ruby, Jared and Carter; one brother, Arnold (Gertie) Hanson of Redding, Calif., and four sisters, Bertha Rongholt of Woodenville, Wash., Lilly Robinson of San Jose, Calif., Gerda Stordahl of Fairview, Mont., Olga Underdahl of Spokane, Wash., and Eva Zander of Palo Alto, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Sticka; her brothers, Oscar, Warner and Robert; and sisters, Ella and Irma.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, at Dahl Funeral Chapel in Billings. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, at the Dahl Funeral Chapel in Billings. Committal will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
