Shirley Lea Trew, 76, of Decatur, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016, at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rex and Carrie McHone; five brothers, Ralph, Clarence, James, Jerry Dean and Aaron McHone; two sisters, Nella Broadwell and Patricia Gerles; and one son, Tony Trew.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Trew of Decatur; one son, Mikey Trew of Decatur; four brothers, Rex and Lois McHone, Eugene and Margie McHone, and Tommy McHone, all of Decatur, and Daws and Pat McHone of Athens; two sisters, Barbara and Clifford Bales, and Sandra McHone, all of Decatur; three sisters-in-law, Rose, Brenda and Vickie McHone, all of Decatur; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 15, in Pisgah Cemetery with the Rev. Herman Jordan officiating.

Interment will be in Pisgah Cemetery.

The family will meet at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. on Friday to go to the cemetery.

Bowers Funeral Home of Decatur is in charge of arrangements.
