LELA FORREST

BRIGHAM CITY--Lela Forrest,
18, daughter of Robert Wilson and
Hilda Rhodes Forrest, died at the
family home, 122 South Third East
street, Saturday after an extended
illness.
Miss Forrest was born May 25,
1924, at Brigham City, where she
attended elementary school, and
was a senior student at Box Elder
county high school at the time of
her death. Active in school affairs,
she was a 1941 graduate of the
school L. D. S. seminary, secre-
tary of the Bee Ette's club and
vice president of the band.
An active member of the L. D. S.
church, she was president of Brig-
ham City Second L. D. S. ward
Gleanor Girls, and was chosen as
Box Elder stake's 1942 Gold and
Green ball queen.
Surviving besides her parents are
the following brothers and sisters:
Robert Forrest of Santa Maria,
Cal., and Barbara Jean, Don R.,
and Dee R. Forrest of Brigham
City.
Funeral services will be conduct-
ed Tuesday at two p. m. at the
Brigham City L. D. S. First ward
chapel, with Harold Nelson, bishop,
officiating. Burial will be in the
Brigham City cemetery, under di-
rection of the Harold B. Felt mor-
tuary.
Friends may call at the family
home on Monday evening and on
Tuesday until time of services.
