George Henwood, 79, a farmer at Veteran, Alberta, for more than 40 years, died Thursday in a Calgary nursing home.
Born in Durham County, Ont., he came west in 1910.
He is survived by one sister, Mrs. P. W. Harrison, Winnipeg, and a brother, Richard, of Rosetown, Sask.
