Gill Andrew Hornsby, 50, Fireco, passed away Tuesday, April4, 2006, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

Mr. Hornsby was a proud veteran. He was a disabled construction worker.

He was born Nov. 21, 1955, in Beckley to Oliver Arthur Hornsby and Dora Alice Church.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Emogene; a son, Andrew and a daughter-in-law, tiffany, of Sophia; a sister, Marcella Tipton of Sophia; and three beloved grandchildren, Alexandria, Jon and Freya.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother James Hornsby.

Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 10 at Williams - Blue Ridge Funeral Chapel, 147 Virginia St., Sophia.

He will be buried Tuesday, April 11, at Hot Coal Cemetery, Sophia. Graveside service will be held for family and close friends. Rites will be held at 6 p.m.
