Catherine A. Nicholson, 82 of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away on January 10, 2016. Catherine was born on June 23, 1933 to Henry and Helen Ewers. She enjoyed playing her card games and loved her pets. Her first love was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Nicholson and wife Susan, and George Nicholson and wife Lisa, daughter, Theresa Higgins and daughter-in-law, Tonya Nicholson; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brothers, Ben Ewers and wife Dora Jean, Phillip Ewers and wife Dee, and Norbert Ewers and wife Ruthie; sisters, Theresa Otis and husband Tommy and Betty Boburg and husband Carlos.
She is preceded in death by her husband Russell Nicholson, sons, Paul Henry Nicholson, and Leslie Mark Nicholson; sisters, Mary Agnes Vermillion and Arlene Ewers; and her parents, Henry and Helen Ewers.
Funeral Services are 10:00AM, Friday, January 15, 2016 at John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home Chapel, 120 S. Broadway, Moore, OK. Interment will follow to Resthaven Memory Garden, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home, Moore, OK.
