Ronnie J. Kuhn, 67, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Major Hospital.

He was born October 4, 1948, in Greensburg, the son of Merle and Ethel (Bristol) Kuhn. He married Juanita Itce on April 30, 1971, and she survives.

Ronnie is also survived by his sons, Benjamin R. Kuhn, and wife, Mindy, of Clover, South Carolina, and Brady A. Kuhn and wife, Sandra, of Zionsville; daughter, Erin Durbin and husband, Sam, of Wiesbaden, Germany; brother, Roy Kuhn and wife, Darlene, of Rushville; grandchildren, Jacob Kuhn, Adrienne Durbin, Sophia Kuhn, Kara Durbin, Grant Kuhn, Lija Kuhn and Alexandra Kuhn; brothers-in-law, Matt Itce of Greenwood, and Harry Itce of New Castle; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his dog, Oscar.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Thomas Kuhn; and a sister, Norma Kuhn.

Ronnie graduated from Milroy High School in 1968.

He attended First Presbyterian Church and formerly attended Zion United Church of Christ, as a child.

Ronnie was employed at Hydro Conduit Corporation and Major Hospital, retiring in 2006.

He enjoyed Indiana University basketball, Cincinnati Reds baseball, fishing, hunting and stock car racing.

Ronnie loved the time he spent coaching his sons in baseball, playing with his grandchildren and taking care of his dog, Oscar.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, January 18, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church, 124 W. Broadway St. in Shelbyville.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with Rev. Mark Morningstar officiating.

Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
