Minnie Lee C. Gordon, 95, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016. A Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Odum officiating. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dixon United Methodist, 6637 Sandy Point Road, Lizella GA 31052 or the Methodist Home for Children and Youth, 304 Pierce Ave., Macon GA 31204.
Minnie was born in Crawford County to the late David and Naomi Hudson Chapman. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Gordon. Mrs. Gordon was a lifelong member of Dixon United Methodist Church. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
