Born Jan. 14, 1917, in Supino, Italy, he was a son of the late Cataldo and Maddalena (Zuccaro) Corsi. He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Center Township; Sons of Columbus; American Italian Club; a founding member of San Cataldo Organization, and was a former member of the MPI Club and United Steelworkers of America Local 1211, all of Aliquippa. He was a retired employee of the Aliquippa Works, Jones & Laughlin Steel Corp., where he worked in the blast furnace as a crane operator.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Surviving "Tony" is his loving wife of 61 years, Daisy (Palazzi) Corsi, whom he married April 30, 1942, and his devoted children: a daughter and son-in-law, Carol Ann and Joseph Orsen, in New York, and two sons, Anthony David Corsi Jr., in New Jersey, and Ronald Richard Corsi, Center Township. He was the proud grandfather to Melissa (Corsi) Balistrieri, and Joseph, Jonathan and Jason Orsen.
Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the MASTROFRANCESCO FUNERAL HOME, 21st and McMinn Streets, Aliquippa (724-375-0496), where a service will be conducted Saturday at noon, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 12:30 p.m. in St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Center Township.
Entombment will follow in Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Hopewell Township.
