HASS--Frieda, passed away peacefully in her 74th year on December 6, 1983. born in Wawota, Saskatchewan, July 9, 1909, she has resided in Exshaw, Alberta since 1948. Mrs. Hass was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 179, an avid curler, and known for her love for the violin, and writing of poetry. She is survived by a daughter, Fern Oglestone of Invermere, B.C.; and four sons, Ron of Vancouver, BC., Glen and Wayne of Exshaw, and Gary of Calgary; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one sister Florence Dey, Wainwright, Alberta. Mrs. Hass was predeceased by her husband Edward in 1959.
