Antonia Salazar, age 97, beloved mother and grandmother, was embraced by the Lord and taken to her heavenly home on January 6, 2016.
Antonia was a resident of Bernalillo, NM.
Antonia was preceded in death by her husband, Ignacio Salazar, daughter, Yolanda Salazar and granddaughter, Antoinette White.
Antonia is survived by her loving children, Isabel "Chavela" White, Raymond Salazar and Ursula, Priscilla Nates and her husband, Al, Frankie Salazar and his wife, Ramona, Pete Salazar and Debra, Ignacio Salazar and Barbara Finley and her husband, Bill, 25 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Antonia will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 11, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Bernalillo Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Joshua Smith, James Salazar, Frankie Salazar Jr., Patrick White Jr., Phillip Nates, Peter Nates, Antonio Mora Jr. and Roxxanne Smith. Honorary Bearers will be Anthony Salazar, Joseph Salazar and Ronnie Salazar.
