Born in St. Mary, Neb., on Feb. 22, 1912, Mrs. Begesse moved from Tecumseh, Neb., to Troy in 1950.
She was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church, where she was active in St. Ann's Altar Society; and American Legion Auxiliary, all of Troy.
On June 9, 1953, she married Virgil Begesse in Troy. He survives of the home.
Mrs. Begesse was preceded in death by an infant son, Jeffery P.; her parents, John and Nellie Lempka; and four sisters and two brothers.
Additional survivors: two daughters, Susan Prose, Lakewood, Colo., and Cheryl Lindteigen, McPherson, Kan.; and six grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, St. Charles Catholic Church, Troy, Kan.
Burial: church cemetery.
