William Miltenberger

William Miltenberger, aged 75 of 512 East Monroe street, died at 12:15 p.m. Thursday in the veterans hospital, Hines, Ill., where he had been a patient for the last four months. He had been ill for one year.
Born in Laporte, Ind. March 1, 1873, he came here 27 years ago from Los Angeles, Calif. He Married Miss Margaret Thorpe, June 9, 1922. Mr. Miltenberger was an interior decorator; surviving are his wife, and his brother George, both of South Bend.
Friends may call at the Hay funeral home after noon Saturday and until funeral services there at 2 p.m. Sunday. Rev. Robert M. Selle, D. D., pastor of St. Pauls Memorial Methodist church will officiate. Burial will be in Bowman cemetery with members of the Spanish American War veterans in charge. The color guard, firing squad and the pallbearers for the military rites will be supplied by South Bend post No. 1167, V.F.W.
