Jerry Horace Page (78) passed away in his home, on January 6, 2016.

Jerry was born on April 21, 1938 to Lawrence and Ida Page. He was raised in Centerville, UT and loved living in close proximity to his parents and other loved ones for most of his life.

Jerry had a passion for gardening – a pastime which he lovingly shared with his children and grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he faithfully served in multiple capacities throughout his life, including many years as a dedicated home teacher and a leader in the Scouting program. His life of love and service to others was an example to all those who knew him.

On November 14, 1955 Jerry married his sweetheart Sharon Billingsley, and was sealed to her for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake temple. His lifelong devotion to Sharon was a source of strength and love from which his entire family has been blessed.

Jerry had an amazing work ethic which he applied to various positions throughout his career. He began his career in 1951 where he worked at the Salt Lake Tribune. From 1953 to 1955 he held positions at Tingey’s Farm as well as Salt Lake Hardware, and in 1962 he gained employment with Hercules where he worked until he retired.

Jerry is survived by his two daughters Terese Castleton and Kathy P. Ferrin, (Lynn Ferrin); 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, two sisters, and his beloved wife Sharon.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 11, at Centerville Canyon Ward, 160 W. 300 E. Centerville, UT.
