June's parents were James Willie and Viola (Ingram) Linton, and she was the second of three children: Fern, June and James R. Her parents and James R. preceded her in death. Four sons and one daughter, as well as one sister survive her.
She was a Graduate of Gerty High School, Class of 1954. She played basketball and liked sports. After HS, she worked in the Holdenville Hospital before her marriage.
Married 1) Doyle George, the father of her children; 2) Charles Vickers.
June was a loving mother, and faithful friend. Always had a positive attitude and was not a complainer. She died peacefully in her sleep at home.
Besides her immediate family, a sister and two nephews, she left many cousins and other relatives to feel the pain of their loss.
