Oranna's maiden name was Doty. She was the daughter of Catherine Sauer Doty and James Doty.

From the Benton County Sun, 12/19/1907:

RIDDLE, Ora Anna DOTY - Died Nov. 29 at her home east of Bentonville, Ark., Ora Anna Riddle, age 44 years and 22 days. Deceased was born in Cedar County, Iowa Nov. 7th, 1863, was married to E.E. Riddle Sept 15th, 1880 and came with her husband to Benton County, Ark. in 1885. To them were born nine children,
seven daughters and two sons, all living and all present during their mother's last illness, to nurse, comfort and console, except Mrs. Maude Barkalow of Atalassa, Iowa, who was not able to make the journey. Mrs. Wm. Hank and Miss Con Riddle of Pierce City, Mo. arrived at the sorrow stricken home before the end came. Many of her neighbors, friends and acquaintances attended the funeral services at the home, thus manifesting their esteem and respect for the departed, and their condolence for the bereft family. The remains were laid to rest in the family lot in the Mt. Eden cemetery to await "the resurrection of life." P. Carnahan.
