Services for Margie Ellen Jester, 86, of Tahoka, will be held Friday, January 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Tahoka with Pastor Bill Fuller officiating. Burial will be at Tahoka Cemetery. She died on January 5, in Tahoka.
Margie was born September 6, 1929 in Pauls Valley, OK to Grover and Jessie Bishop Tomlinson. She graduated from Tahoka High School in 1947. She married A. J. Jester March 27, 1948 in Tahoka. He preceded her in death on July 1, 2006. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tahoka.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and one brother Billy Tom Tomlinson.
Survivors include daughter Pat Hinson of Tahoka; two sons, Terry Jester of San Marcos, and Curtis Jester of Slaton; three sisters, Joy and husband Jimmy Bragg, Sue and husband Gayland Tekell, all of Tahoka, Lou and husband Johnny Rogers of Amarillo, and Gary Don Tomlinson and wife Bonnie of Canyon; five grandchildren, David Jester (Heather) of Tahoka, Saundra Jester of Lubbock, Brent Jester of Slaton, Lacy and Adam Jester of San Marcos and two great-grandchildren Branson and Adyson Jester, of Tahoka.
Pallbearers will be Junior Stice, Colton Stice, Keaton Stice, Cary Tekell, Gordon Tomlinson, John Rogers, Brady Tekell and Kurt Vogeler.
