Pearl Lillian Hessenthaler (Tielkemeier), 96, died on January 4, 2016. Pearl resided at 'Vintage On The Ponds' assisted living facility in Delavan, WI for the past 17 years, and was there at the time of her passing. Pearl was born in Epplyanna, (Davis) Illinois, as one of four children to Elmer and Julia Tielkemeier. Pearl married John Henry Hessenthaler in 1940. They had two sons. Besides being a wife, homemaker, and mother, Pearl worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for Hessenthaler Case Farm Implements of Davis, IL. Pearl was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; brother, Delmar; and sister, Marion. Also deceased are brothers-in-law, Rev. Mike Maietta and Alfred Hessenthaler, and sisters-in-law, Rose, Elsie and Minnie Hessenthaler. Surviving Pearl are 2 sons and their wives; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister; sister-in-law; and special loved ones. Published in The Journal-Standard January 7 2016.
