Elizabeth was the daughter of Phillip & Martha Mayo Ware born in Virgina accord to census. She married William Perry abt. 1829?? 1850 Indiana Census list them as the parents of 8 children.William got a Military Warrant 1 Dec 1851 in Wayne Co., IL #4468 issued at Vandalia, IL for 40 Acres in SE Qtr of Sec. 21, Twp. 2N, R8E because of his service from the Black Hawk War. He was in 9 Jun to 3 Jul 1832. They went from Indianapolis to S. Bend and back. He was a Private in Capt. John Wishard's 57th Reg from Johnson Co. who met up with the 40th Reg under Col Russell. He served with his brother-in-law, James Ware and his brother, David Perry. They moved to Illinois before 1860. This census listed the 6 sons and all three dau. missing (they had married). Elizabeth and William didn't last long they died Elizabeth in Nov. 17,1865 and William in Oct. 26, 1865. Folklore again Milk poisoning killed off large part of this family.
