Jeanne was born in Bell California She married Al Caldwell on February 2, 1951. Jeanne was only 83 when she died. They were married for 64 years. They had five children, all five are still living. There are ten grandchildren and eighteen three great grandchildren. Jeanne was a stay at home mom and did a great job raising five children. Jeanne and Al had a great life together. In 1964 they built a small house at Clear Lake California. Jeanne spent the summers there with the five kids. The kids did lots of water skiing and fishing. Al would fly up to Clear Lake from his shop in Long Beach CA. about every two weeks or so to spend three days with Jeanne and the kids. After the kids were all grown Jeanne and Al sold their home in southern California in 1976 and moved to Clear Lake. They purchased a 52 acre ranch and started learning to be farmers. They were growing Bartlett Pears and English Walnuts. They farmed for 13 years. They sold the ranch and built a large home on top of a hill. Jeanne had many memories of her kids coming for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Jeanne loved to have her kids at that house, but age caught up with Jeanne and Al. It just became too much work to take care of the big house. We live in that big house for 13 years. We sold the house that Jeanne and Al built and moved to Twain Harte California to be closer to our son Glenn. We have been RVing for years. Our first trip was in 1954 with a rented trailer. We traveled around the US and Canada in a Motorhome and then a Fifth wheel trailer. We got to visit every state, some more than once. We would also go to the Colorado River in Arizona for two or three months in the winter. We stayed at the same RV Park for 20 years. Sometimes Jeanne's twin sister and her husband would come to the RV Park in there motorhome for a month or so. We had great fun playing cards with them at night after dinner.
