Carolyn was born in Wilson County on June 20, 1935 to the late Edward and Edna O’Neal Liles. She was a long-time member of Marsh Swamp Free Will Baptist Church. Carolyn was devoted to her church and was involved in many activities including the ladies auxiliary. She was a member of the Buckhorn Home Extension Club. Carolyn was retired from the public school system as an administrative secretary.
