George Fetterly, son of Peter Fetterly and Hannah Baseler. Husband of Eve Fetterly, born 2 Oct. 1795. Marriage 12 Nov. 1815. George was born in Williamsburg Township, Dundas County, Upper Canada, son of Loyalist Peter Fetterly and Hannah Baseler. At the age of 21 George petitioned for land as the son of a Loyalist, and received his grant by Order in Council 20 May 1817.

1817 - Petition for land as the son of Loyalist Peter Fetterly dated 28 Jan. 1817, granted by Order in Council 20 May 1817. (We have a copy of this petition.) George was age 21 when petitioning.
